West Ham appears to have secured former Real Madrid manager Julen Lopetegui to replace David Moyes this summer.
Lopetegui has been without a club since leaving Wolves earlier this season amid disagreements with the club’s leadership. According to reports from The Athletic, Lopetegui has agreed to terms with West Ham and is poised to take over at the end of the season.

Under Moyes, West Ham has faced challenges this season, sitting in ninth place after suffering 13 losses, including a recent 5-0 defeat by Chelsea. While Sporting boss Ruben Amorim was previously linked with the West Ham job, Lopetegui now appears to be the chosen successor.
Interestingly, Lopetegui also attracted interest from Bayern Munich, who are parting ways with Thomas Tuchel. However, Lopetegui seems committed to the West Ham job and has reportedly turned down Bayern’s approach.
As West Ham prepares for the managerial transition, they have two remaining matches of the season against Luton Town and title-chasing Manchester City.
